Will Hearn is a professional opera singer and private music instructor based in Houston, TX. Mr. Hearn earned a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from Texas State University in 2009 and a Master's degree in voice from the distinguished Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in 2012. He has performed across the country with various opera companies and festivals including San Antonio Opera, Hill Country Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Sparkling City Light Opera, Opera in the Ozarks, Toas Opera, Seagle Music Colony Festival, and the Caramoor Opera Festival in New York.
In addition to work his work in opera and private music instruction, Hearn is the executive producer of The Grand Ol' Christmas Show which goes on tour this December for eight performance dates all across Texas. His original Christmas Show will be broadcast live on a syndicated radio program out of Fort Worth Texas on December 17th, 2017. Specializing in opera and jazz vocals has allowed Hearn to expand beyond the classical performing world and work with popular Texas music artists as a voice consultant in the recording studio. He most recently worked with the Blue Water Highway Band on their EP and new album, Things We Carry. Hearn has maintained a private music studio for the past six years and works with students of all ages. Students of Mr. Hearn have advanced to the Texas All-State Choir and have earned the highest awards in state vocal competitions.
Hearn and wife Jenna made Houston their home base in 2011. Jenna is successful photographer and the owner of My Happy Lens. They live in the Spring Branch neighborhood of Houston with their two dogs, Penny and Piper. Their newest addition to the family arrived in August of 2016, a beautiful baby boy - Henry "Hank" Norris Hearn.
